Terms of service
Last updated: 9 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and E-Digital Group, Inc., a Florida corporation, 2236 SE 100th Lane #3206, Webster, FL 33597 (“we”, “us”), for the use of Signal Wren at signalwren.com and app.signalwren.com (the “Service”).
1. Who can use the Service
Signal Wren is for businesses. By using it you confirm that:
- you’re at least 18;
- you’re using it for a business, not for personal or household purposes; and
- you’re authorised to accept these terms for the organisation you use it for. “You” in these terms includes that organisation.
2. What the Service does
Signal Wren checks websites and connected marketing accounts on a schedule and tells you what changed: for example whether search engines and AI assistants can reach your pages, whether your tags and pixels still load, and, on paid plans, whether traffic, search performance or your Tag Manager setup shifted.
The Service points out problems. It doesn’t fix them, and it can’t promise to catch every problem (see section 11).
3. Accounts and organisations
- You need an account to use the app. Keep your email account secure: anyone who can read your email can sign in as you.
- Sites belong to an organisation. Its owner is responsible for it and for the people they invite. Owners and admins can add sites, invite people and connect accounts; viewers can see results. Every member can see the organisation’s results, including data from connected accounts.
- Each person may own one Free organisation. Creating extra accounts or organisations to get around plan limits isn’t allowed.
- Give us accurate information, and keep it up to date.
4. Sites you monitor
You may only add sites that you own or that you’re authorised to monitor, for example as the site owner’s agency. By adding a site, you confirm you have that permission.
How our checks visit a site:
- About once a day, plus any checks you start, it requests the site’s home page and the key pages you list, its
robots.txtand sitemap, and one made-up address to see how the site answers a page that doesn’t exist. It also clicks links from your pages to your own booking or checkout subdomains, to check that tracking survives the move. - Most requests identify themselves as
SignalWren. Pages loaded in the browser use Cloudflare’s standard headless Chrome identity. - To test whether your firewall or bot protection treats search engines and AI assistants differently, a few requests to your home page use the user-agent strings of those crawlers (for example Googlebot, Bingbot, GPTBot and Claude’s crawlers). These requests come from Cloudflare’s network, not from those companies, and your security tools may label them as such.
- It doesn’t follow
robots.txtrules, because checking whether those rules block search engines and AI assistants from your pages is part of what it does. It does readrobots.txtand reports on it. - It never signs in, submits forms, solves CAPTCHAs, or tries to get around access controls or bot protection.
- Tracking requests made during a check are stopped before they’re sent, so checks shouldn’t appear as visits in your analytics.
You’re responsible for making sure our visits are allowed by your site’s terms and hosting arrangements.
5. Connected accounts
On paid plans, an owner or admin can connect a Google account to give the Service read-only access to Google Analytics, Search Console and Tag Manager. You confirm you’re allowed to give that access for the properties you choose, and that every member of your organisation may see the results. Your use of those services remains governed by Google’s terms. You can disconnect at any time. Our Privacy Policy describes what we read and how we handle it.
6. Plans and payment
- Free includes one site, one member and 30 days of history, at no charge.
- Pro and Agency are paid monthly in US dollars, in advance, through Stripe. Current prices and limits are on the pricing page. Agency includes 25 sites; each site beyond that is billed at the extra-site price, adjusted when you add or remove sites and prorated for the month.
- Prices exclude taxes, which we add where required.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel, change plan or update your card at any time from Settings → Billing. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- Refunds: we don’t refund partial months, except where the law requires it or section 10 says so.
- Failed payments: Stripe retries a failed payment. If it still fails, the subscription ends and the organisation moves to the Free plan (see “Paused sites” below).
- Price changes: we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice. The new price applies from your first renewal after the notice period, and you can cancel before then.
Paused sites
If an organisation has more sites than its plan allows, for example after a downgrade or a failed payment:
- the sites over the limit are paused, not deleted: you can still see them and their results, but they aren’t checked;
- history for every site is trimmed to the current plan’s limit (30 days on Free); and
- paused sites start being checked again as soon as the plan allows them, for example after an upgrade.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t:
- monitor, test or overload sites you aren’t authorised to monitor;
- try to get around plan limits, access other organisations’ data, or probe or attack the Service;
- resell or offer the Service to others as your own product, except that an agency may use it to monitor its clients’ sites and share the results with them; or
- use the Service for anything unlawful.
We may suspend an account or organisation that breaks these rules. We’ll tell you why, unless the law or a security risk stops us.
8. Your data and our property
- Your data: your site details, results and connected-account data remain yours. You allow us to process them only to provide, secure and support the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can ask for a copy of your organisation’s results at any time by emailing support@signalwren.com.
- Our property: the Service, its software, design and content belong to us and our licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these terms while your account is open.
- Feedback: if you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
- Statistics: we may use anonymous, aggregated statistics about how the Service is used to run and improve it. These never include Google user data.
9. Your responsibility for misuse
You’ll defend and compensate us against third-party claims, and the resulting costs, arising from sites you monitored without permission, from connected accounts you weren’t entitled to connect, or from your breach of section 7.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service running but don’t promise it will always be available or error-free. Checks may be delayed or skipped, for example during maintenance or an outage at one of our providers. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove a paid feature or make a change that materially reduces what your plan includes, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice, and you may cancel without penalty and receive a pro-rated refund for any unused period you’ve paid for.
11. No guarantees
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Monitoring depends on third parties, including your site, its hosting, Google and others, behaving as expected, and some problems can’t be detected from outside. We don’t guarantee that the Service will detect every problem, or detect it in time. Results are information to help you, not professional advice. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- we aren’t liable for lost profits, revenue, traffic, rankings, goodwill or data, or for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, even if a problem the Service didn’t detect caused them; and
- our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or US $100 if you’ve paid us nothing.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
13. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account or organisation, email support@signalwren.com. We may end these terms or close an account with 30 days’ notice, or immediately for a serious breach of section 7. When an organisation is closed, we delete its data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Sections 8, 9, 11, 12 and 15 continue to apply after these terms end.
14. Notices and changes to these terms
We’ll send notices to the email address of your organisation’s owner and, where appropriate, show them in the app. You can send notices to support@signalwren.com.
We may update these terms. We’ll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, give at least 30 days’ notice as above. If you don’t agree with a change, you can cancel before it takes effect without penalty. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
15. General
- Governing law: these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard only in the state and federal courts located in Sumter County, Florida, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction.
- Order of precedence: if documents conflict, a separately signed agreement with us comes first, then any data processing agreement (for data protection matters), then these terms, then the Privacy Policy and the pricing page.
- Severability: if part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
- Assignment: you may not transfer these terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business, with notice to you.
- Entire agreement: these terms, the Privacy Policy and any document named under “order of precedence” are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
